Waqar Zaka is a well-known TV Host, Social Media Star, YouTuber and Specialist in Cryptocurrencies. Zaka is one of the five Crypto Experts of the world who was nominated for the Binance Awards. He is striving for educating Pakistanis about Digital Currencies, and he has filed cases in Pakistani courts to unban the trading of cryptocurrencies in Pakistan.

Early Life, Education and Careers
Zaka was raised in Karachi and received his Primary and Secondary education from B. V. S. Parsi High School, Karachi and Adamjee Govt. Science College, Karachi. Later, Zaka enrolled in NED University, Karachi, for earning Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He did Masters of Fine Arts in FilmMaking from New York Film Academy, USA.
He rose to fame by his controversial song “Nahi Parha Mainy Pura Saal”. Then Waqar worked as Video Jockey (VJ) on Indus Musik. Later, In 2004, he started his Hosting career with the popular reality show Living on the edge. Although Waqa Zaka’s Show was able to gather the attention of Youth, the content was not appropriate; it was misleading the minds of young people; later, Waqar apologized for it.
On ARY Music, Waqar Directed and hosted different Reality shows like XPOSED, King of Street Magic, Desi Kudiyan and The Cricket Challenge.
In the meantime, Waqar contested in the General Elections of Paksitan (2013) from one of the constituencies of Karachi, but the results were startling for him; he hadn’t even got 50 votes.
After the gap of several years, he launched another reality show named Champions with Waqar Zaka on BOL TV. However, after one year, Waqar Zaka’s this show was banned by PEMRA (Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) and then unbanned by IHC (Islamabad High Court).
Controversies related to Zaka
The majority of society does not much like Waqar Zaka’s shows. His shows got censored by PEMRA several times for airing unacceptable content. Once, he was beaten by a group of people on the busy road of Karachi for unknown reasons.
Many other controversies are associated with him; he claims to have great support from Youth and forms his own Political Part with the name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Tech. But on paper, he hadn’t even got 50 votes out of 211Kin 2013’s General Election.
Awards and Accolades
Waqar is engaged in providing aid to people residing in war-affected areas of Myanmar and Syria; for his act of Humanity, Mohsin E Pakistan, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan gave him an Award. In addition, Zaka is a famous Crypto Enterpenuner, and he was nominated for Bananas Influencer Awards 2021 by BINANCE, Worldwide Cryptocurrency Services Provider.
Waqar Zaka and Crypto Currency
Waqar is appointed as Crypto Expert by the Government of Pakistan, and he offered his services for free. Currently, he is working on the Project of Crypto Mining and CryptoCurrency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Zaka is running a Facebook community group to educate people about cryptocurrencies, how to invest in cryptocurrencies and strategies of Investment. He is also working on establishing a crypto mining farm in Pakistan.
