Exhibition Cricket Match Held at Gawadar

The picturesque Gwadar stadium took the internet by storm when its pictures were shared on social media by Pakistani cricket enthusiasts. The cricket stadium located in Gwadar attracted millions of cricket fans around the globe. 

Fans also urged the Pakistan cricket board to hold a Pakistan Super League game in the stadium located between the jagged, majestic mountains in Gwadar. Now, to pay tribute to the late mountaineer Ali Sadpara, a first-ever Exhibition Cricket Match was Held at Gawadar was played between Showbiz Sharks and the Gwadar Dolphins. 

CEO PCB Waseem Khan captained the Showbiz Sharks and the team also included Fakhr-e-Alam, Faysal Qureishi, Ali Zafar, Saleem Sheikh, Aijaz Aslam, Shezad Roy, Sami Khan, Kamran Jeelani, Salman Saeed, Ali Safina and Noman Habib.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi was leading the Gwadar Dolphins. The Dolphins’ team included local players and Ali Zaidi and the GOC Gwadar. The toss was officiated British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Christian Turner. 

Turner termed the stadium as the beautiful stadium in the world. Cricket fans were excited to see a cricket match being played in the picturesque stadium .
