PSL 2022 Complete Report – Next Round, Points Table & Team Positions

Today, Feb 21, there will be the last Match of Group Stages Match in PSL 2022, where Peshawer Zalmi will meet Red hot Lahore Qalandars. As 4 Teams are already qualified for PSL’s Playoff stages, this Match is not much consequential. 

PSL 2022 Qualifiers

The following teams are qualified for PSL Playoffs:

• Multan Sultans
• Lahore Qalandars
• Peshawar Zalmi
• Islamabad United

PSL Standings/Team Positions

Multan Sultans are Group Topper with 18 Points with only one Match lost; they only lost to Lahore Qalandars. On the other hand, Karachi won only one match against Lahore Qalandars. Karachi is out for the rest of the tournament, along with Gladiators. Quetta Gladiators are unlucky this time as in the race for points, Quetta and Islamabad United are resting at the position, but IU reached the next stage by the edge of Net Run Rate. Peshawar Zalmi produced some match-winning knocks at the end of PSL Group Stages and qualified for the Playoffs. Interestingly, Peshawar Zalmi qualified for the PSL playoffs consecutively for the 7th time. Lahore Qalandars are Favourites this time for PSL Title, and they are at second position and will face Multan Sultans in Qualifier Match.
