LQ vs PZ: Shaheen Shah Afridi’s 23 in the last over went into vain as Shoaib Malik’s Experience prevailed over his XI in the Super Over.

LQ vs PZ: Last night’s match between Peshawer Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars resulted in one of the most entertaining PSL matches, which was decided in Super Over. With this Match, Lahore Qalandars became the team that has played 3 Super Over Matches in PSL out of 4. 

The match started with the First batting of Peshawar Zalmi. However, Zalmi’s BAtting was not “Exceptional” Shoiab Malik, Haider Ali, and Hazrat Allah Zazai were Top Performers with Scores of 32, 35, and 20, respectively. Peshawar Zalmi included only one foreign player, i.e., Zazai, in their team for several reasons. After 20 overs, Peshawar Zalmi put 158/7 on Scoreboard.

Chasing the Target, Lahore Qalandars lost their breath during the first power play as their Top Scorer, Fakhar Zaman, dropped out with Phil Salt and Brook. Hafeez led the team towards the target, but he was sent to the pavilion during the 19th Over. Skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi came to the crease, and 24 runs were required in the last over. Shaheen Afridi turned Shahid Afridi, hit 3 Maximum and 1 Boundary, and leveled the Scores. 

Batting First in Super Over, Lahore was restricted to 5 Runs by Wahab Riaz. Harry Brook and Fakhar Zaman didn’t seem able to read Wahab Riaz. Chasing the Target of 6, Zalmi sent experienced Shoiab Malik along with Young Muhammad hairs. On Shaheen’s Bowling, Shoaib Malik smashed two easy fours and registered another win for Peshawar Zalmi.
