The Prime Minister of Pakistan will today inaugurate the Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Scholarship Program, which will provide educational access to undergraduate students from low-income families.
According to the latest report, Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Rehmatul-lil-Alameen scholarship Program in Islamabad today. The scholarship program is being launched at the federal level with the help of the Pakistan Higher Education Commission.
The Government of Pakistan has announced this scholarship program for students from low-income families. Scholarships have been announced in line with the Educational System Transformation Policy. Students from low-income families will have access to undergraduate education under this scholarship.
Approximately budget of twenty-eight billion rupees for this scholarship program has been approved. The budget for this scholarship program will be utilized in the next 5 years.
The Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Scholarship Program will be implemented in 129 private universities of the country while all the provinces will also implement the scholarship programs.
A budget of Rs. 1 billion per annum has been approved for Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Scholarship Program in Punjab Province while this scholarship program will also be presented in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A budget of Rs. 427 million has been approved for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
