Coronavirus Third Wave in Pakistan, 800,000 total Cases, and another 70 people have died in the country from Corona and 4,825 new cases have been reported.

According to the Corona Statistics website (covid.gov.pk), 50,161 corona tests were performed across Pakistan in the last 24 hours, with 4,825 corona virus confirmations and 70 infected people died.

According to the official portal, the positive rate of corona cases in the country was 9.61%.

According to official figures, the number of deaths from corona in the country has risen to 17,187 and the total number of daily cases has reached 8,452 while the number of active cases is 89,219.

In addition, 4234 patients across the country recovered from Corona in 24 hours, bringing the total number of those who recovered to 694034.

Coronavirus Third Wave in Pakistan, Situation in the provinces:

According to the official portal, the total number of Corona patients in Sindh has reached 278545 while 4599 people have died so far.

In Punjab, there are 290788 corona patients and 7990 people have died as a result of the infection, while in Balochistan, there are 21743 patients and 232 deaths.

Corona patients numbered 114077 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 3134 deaths, while 16591 people were infected with the virus in Azad Kashmir, with 462 deaths.

In addition, the number of corona patients in Gilgit-Baltistan so far has been 5258 and 105 people have died.

According to the portal, the total number of corona patients in the federal capital Islamabad is 73,450 and so far 665 patients have died.
