After Kamran Akmal & Arshad Iqbal tested positive for COVID-19, Two more players from Peshawar Zalmi were found infected with Novel Coronavirus. According to Media Reports, Skipper Wahab Riaz and Middle Order Batter Haider Ali are taking tests for COVID, which came up positive. Following the PCB’s protocols for PSL 2022, both players will go into Isolation and play PSL games after clearing the COVID Test.
It’s consecutively the second awful news for Peshawer Zalmi Management as Kamran Akmal & Pacer Arshad Iqbal was found COVID Positive today. Four cases from Peshawer Zalmi is alarming for PSL 2022, but PCB’s Plans to introduce a reserve Pool can be beneficial in this case. Previously, Ammad Butt and Imam Ul Haq were called by Peshawar Zalmi in place of COVID Infected Players. It is not announced by Peshawer Zalmi, who will replace and lead the Peshawar Zalmi Squad in 2022.
